Un alt efect de durat\u0103 al acestui eveniment &#8211; cea mai mare explozie subacvatic\u0103 \u00eenregistrat\u0103 vreodat\u0103 de instrumentele \u0219tiin\u021bifice moderne &#8211; a fost cantitatea uria\u0219\u0103 de vapori de aerosoli \u0219i vapori de ap\u0103 pe care a lansat-o c\u0103tre cer.<\/p>\n<p>Cercet\u0103torul Schoeberl \u015fi echipa sa, \u00eentr-un studiu publicat \u00een revista <strong><em>&#8222;Journal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres&#8221;<\/em><\/strong>, au examinat modul \u00een care erup\u021bia lui Hunga a afectat clima din emisfera sudic\u0103 \u00een urm\u0103torii 2 ani. Ei au descoperit c\u0103, \u00een anul care a urmat erup\u021biei (2023), efectul de r\u0103cire de la aerosolii vulcanici care reflect\u0103 lumina Soarelui \u00een spa\u021biul cosmic a fost mai puternic dec\u00e2t \u00eenc\u0103lzirea cauzat\u0103 de vaporii de ap\u0103 care capteaz\u0103 c\u0103ldura \u00een atmosfer\u0103. Dar majoritatea efectelor vulcanului se disipaser\u0103 p\u00e2n\u0103 la sf\u00e2r\u0219itul anului 2023. Cercet\u0103torii au folosit date din satelit pentru a examina modul \u00een care aerosolii stratosferici, gazele \u0219i temperaturile s-au schimbat dup\u0103 erup\u021bie. Erup\u021bia lui Hunga a contribuit cu aproximativ 150 de megatone (150 de milioane) de vapori de ap\u0103 \u00een stratosfer\u0103 &#8211; o cantitate at\u00e2t de mare \u00eenc\u00e2t a crescut nivelul global al vaporilor de ap\u0103 stratosferici cu aproximativ 10%. Aceast\u0103 injec\u021bie masiv\u0103 de ap\u0103 a r\u0103cit temperaturile din stratosfera tropical\u0103 cu 4\u00b0C \u00een martie \u0219i aprilie 2022. La r\u00e2ndul s\u0103u, aceast\u0103 r\u0103cire temporar\u0103 a creat un model de circula\u021bie secundar\u0103 care a condus la reducerea nivelurilor de ozon pe tot parcursul anului 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Erup\u021bia Hunga a eliberat, de asemenea, \u00eentre 0,5 \u0219i 1,5 megatone de dioxid de sulf \u00een stratosfer\u0103. Dioxidul de sulf produce aerosoli de sulfat care reflect\u0103 lumina Soarelui \u0219i poate provoca o reducere a for\u021bei radiative de suprafa\u021b\u0103 sau diferen\u021ba dintre radia\u021biile de intrare \u0219i de ie\u0219ire. La nivel global, suprafa\u021ba P\u0103m\u00e2ntului, oceanele \u0219i atmosfera absorb o medie de aproximativ 240 de wa\u021bi de energie solar\u0103 pe metru p\u0103trat pe parcursul unui an.
