Folosind analogia unei perechi de pantofi, conceptul de inseparabilitate poate fi asem\u0103nat cu alegerea la \u00eent\u00e2mplare a unui pantof. \u00cen momentul \u00een care identifici un pantof, natura celuilalt (fie c\u0103 este pantoful st\u00e2ng sau drept) este discernat\u0103 instantaneu, indiferent de loca\u021bia lui \u00een Univers.<\/p>\n<p>Func\u021bia de und\u0103, un principiu central \u00een mecanica cuantic\u0103 a unei particule, ofer\u0103 o \u00een\u021belegere cuprinz\u0103toare a st\u0103rii cuantice. \u00cen exemplul cu pantoful de mai sus, func\u021bia de und\u0103 a pantofului poate con\u021bine informa\u021bii precum st\u00e2nga sau dreapta, m\u0103rimea, culoarea \u0219i a\u0219a mai departe. Mai precis, func\u021bia de und\u0103 permite oamenilor de \u0219tiin\u021b\u0103 s\u0103 prezic\u0103 rezultatele probabile ale diferitelor m\u0103sur\u0103tori asupra unei entit\u0103\u021bi cuantice, de exemplu, pozi\u021bia, viteza etc.<\/p>\n<p>Aceast\u0103 capacitate de predic\u021bie este de nepre\u021buit, mai ales \u00een domeniul \u00een progres rapid al tehnologiei cuantice, unde cunoa\u0219terea unei st\u0103ri cuantice care este generat\u0103 sau introdus\u0103 \u00eentr-un computer cuantic va permite testarea computerului \u00een sine. O tomografie complet\u0103 necesit\u0103 un num\u0103r mare de m\u0103sur\u0103tori care cre\u0219te rapid odat\u0103 cu complexitatea (dimensionalitatea) sistemului.<\/p>\n<p>Experimentele anterioare efectuate cu aceast\u0103 abordare de c\u0103tre grupul de cercetare au ar\u0103tat c\u0103 m\u0103surarea st\u0103rii cuantice de dimensiuni \u00eenalte a doi fotoni inseparabili poate dura ore sau chiar zile. Mai mult, calitatea rezultatului este foarte sensibil\u0103 la zgomot \u0219i depinde de complexitatea configura\u021biei experimentale.<\/p>\n<p>Abordarea de m\u0103surare proiectiv\u0103 a tomografiei cuantice poate fi g\u00e2ndit\u0103 ca privind umbrele unui obiect de dimensiuni \u00eenalte proiectate pe diferi\u021bi pere\u021bi din direc\u021bii independente. Tot ce poate vedea un cercet\u0103tor sunt umbrele \u0219i, din ele, pot deduce forma (starea) \u00eentregului obiect. \u00cen optica clasic\u0103, totu\u0219i, exist\u0103 o alt\u0103 modalitate de a reconstrui un obiect 3D. Aceasta se nume\u0219te holografie digital\u0103 \u0219i se bazeaz\u0103 pe \u00eenregistrarea unei singure imagini, numit\u0103 interferogram\u0103, ob\u021binut\u0103 prin interferarea luminii \u00eempr\u0103\u0219tiate de obiect cu o lumin\u0103 de referin\u021b\u0103. \u00cen cercetarea actual\u0103, s-a extins acest concept la cazul a doi fotoni.<\/p>\n<p>Reconstruirea unei st\u0103ri bifotonice necesit\u0103 suprapunerea acesteia cu o stare cuantic\u0103 probabil binecunoscut\u0103 \u0219i apoi analizarea distribu\u021biei spa\u021biale a pozi\u021biilor \u00een care sosesc doi fotoni simultan. Imaginea sosirii simultane a doi fotoni este cunoscut\u0103 ca o imagine coinciden\u021b\u0103. Ace\u0219ti fotoni pot proveni din sursa de referin\u021b\u0103 sau din sursa necunoscut\u0103. Mecanica cuantic\u0103 afirm\u0103 c\u0103 sursa fotonilor nu poate fi identificat\u0103. Acest lucru are ca rezultat un model de interferen\u021b\u0103 care poate fi utilizat pentru a reconstrui func\u021bia de und\u0103 necunoscut\u0103. Acest experiment a fost posibil printr-o camer\u0103 avansat\u0103 care \u00eenregistreaz\u0103 evenimente cu rezolu\u021bie \u00een nanosecunde pe fiecare pixel.<\/p>\n<p>Aceast\u0103 metod\u0103 este exponen\u021bial mai rapid\u0103 dec\u00e2t tehnicile anterioare, necesit\u00e2nd doar c\u00e2teva minute sau secunde, \u00een loc de zile \u00eentregi. Astfel, timpul de detectare nu este influen\u021bat de complexitatea sistemului.
