Folosindu-l ca un tip de &#8222;baghet\u0103 magic\u0103&#8221; termodinamic\u0103, profesorul Andreas Schilling de la Departamentul de Fizic\u0103 de la Universitatea din Zurich a anun\u021bat \u00eentr-un comunicat de pres\u0103 c\u0103 el \u0219i echipa sa au r\u0103cit o bucat\u0103 de cupru de 9 grame de la peste 100\u00b0 C p\u00e2n\u0103 mai jos de temperatura camerei, f\u0103r\u0103 o surs\u0103 extern\u0103 de alimentare. Teoretic, acest dispozitiv experimental ar putea transforma apa fiart\u0103 \u00een ghea\u021b\u0103, f\u0103r\u0103 a folosi nicio energie extern\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>Elementele Peltier utilizeaz\u0103 \u00een mod normal energie pentru a reduce temperatura \u0219i pot fi g\u0103site \u00een aparatele de r\u0103cire portabile, \u00een r\u0103citoarele pentru microprocesoare sau \u00een minibarurile hoteliere.
