Dar, \u00eentr-un nou punct de vedere mai radical, Universul nu se expansioneaz\u0103, potrivit lui Christof Wetterich, fizician la Universitatea din Heidelberg, Germania, \u00eentr-un articol publicat \u00een 2013 pe site-ul <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailygalaxy.com\/my_weblog\/2013\/08\/the-universe-is-shrinking-a-radical-new-theory-challenges-accepted-view-of-an-expanding-cosmos.html\"><strong>dailygalaxy.com<\/strong><\/a>, dar care nu a fost pus pe site-ul meu p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een prezent.<\/p>\n<p>Omul de \u015ftiin\u0163\u0103 a elaborat o alt\u0103 cosmologie, \u00een care Universul nu se extinde, ci chiar se mic\u015foreaz\u0103. \u00cen lucrarea sa intitulat\u0103<em> &#8222;Un Univers f\u0103r\u0103 expansiune&#8221;<\/em>, Wettrich discut\u0103 un model cosmologic, \u00een care Universul se mic\u015foreaz\u0103 \u015fi nu se extinde, \u00een timpul perioadelor dominate de radia\u021bii \u0219i de materie. Dar \u00eenainte de infla\u021bie, Big Bang-ul nu mai con\u021bine o &#8222;singularitate&#8221;, unde densitatea Universului ar fi infinit\u0103. \u00cen schimb, Big Bang-ul s-a extins \u00een trecut; aceasta \u00eenseamn\u0103 c\u0103 Universul actual ar putea fi static sau chiar \u00eencepe s\u0103 se contracte.<\/p>\n<p>P.S. A\u015fadar, dac\u0103 teoria de mai sus e corect\u0103, atunci Universul se contract\u0103 deja, noi devenind din ce \u00een ce mai mici, din punct de vedere atomic. \u00cens\u0103 acest lucru nu poate fi m\u0103surat sau observat, pentru c\u0103 instrumentele \u00een sine cu care am putea m\u0103sura lucrul acesta se mic\u015foreaz\u0103 \u015fi ele.
