Toat\u0103 condi\u0163ia era s\u0103 fie votat \u015fi de c\u0103tre marii boieri \u00een &#8222;sfatul \u0163\u0103rii&#8221;. Era un sistem democratic destul de primitiv, dar cu mult mai democratic dec\u00e2t \u00een Fran\u0163a, de exemplu, unde regele trebuia s\u0103 fie descendent pe linie masculin\u0103 al unui alt rege.<\/p>\n<p>Totu\u015fi, au existat domnitori \u00een care sistemul electivo-ereditar nu se prea justific\u0103. S\u0103 ne oprim pu\u0163in \u00een cazul Moldovei: e vorba de domnitorii Vasile Lupu, Gheorghe \u015etefan sau Gheorghe Duca Vod\u0103. Niciunul dintre ei nu f\u0103ceau parte din familii domnitoare. Astfel, Vasile Lupu (1593-1661) era de origine albanez\u0103, tat\u0103l s\u0103u fiind Nicolae Coci, un arn\u0103ut din Arvanitehori, ajuns mare paharnic al Moldovei. Domnitorul Gheorghe \u015etefan (1615-1668) era fiul marelui logof\u0103t al Moldovei, Dumitra\u015fcu \u015etefan, cel mai bogat om din acele timpuri din Moldova), dar totu\u015fi nu era de &#8222;os domnesc&#8221;. Gheorghe Duca Vod\u0103 (ce a fost \u015fi domnitorul Moldovei \u015fi al \u0162\u0103rii Rom\u00e2ne\u015fti) avea o origine greac\u0103 modest\u0103. \u015ei totu\u015fi&#8230;ei au ajuns pe tronul Moldovei. Iar \u00eentre cei trei domnitori exist\u0103 o mare leg\u0103tur\u0103, leg\u0103tur\u0103 ce poart\u0103 numele de Pr\u0103jescu.<\/p>\n<p>\u00centre 1525 \u015fi 1527, mare vistiernic al Moldovei a fost Toader Starostescu; acesta l-a avut ca fiu pe Ion Pr\u0103jescu, care a fost vame\u015f de Suceava. Marele istoric \u015fi genealogist rom\u00e2n \u015etefan Gorovei presupune (pe bun\u0103 dreptate, cred eu) c\u0103 acest Ion Pr\u0103jescu s-a c\u0103s\u0103torit cu o fiic\u0103 de-al domnitorului Petru Rare\u015f, Ana (care era astfel, nepoata lui \u015etefan cel Mare). Cei doi au avut printre copii pe:<\/p>\n<p>1) <strong>Irina Pr\u0103jescu<\/strong>, c\u0103s\u0103torit\u0103 cu Costea Bucioc (mare vornic al Moldovei), care la r\u00e2ndul lor au avut o fiic\u0103 pe nume Tudosca Bucioc (deci str\u0103-str\u0103nepoata lui \u015etefan cel Mare) ce se va c\u0103s\u0103tori cu Vasile Lupu.<\/p>\n<p>2) <strong>Agafia Pr\u0103jescu, <\/strong>c\u0103s\u0103torit\u0103 cu Toader Boul (vistiernic al Moldovei), care la r\u00e2ndul lor au avut o fiic\u0103 pe nume Safta Boul (deci o alt\u0103 str\u0103-str\u0103nepoat\u0103 a lui \u015etefan cel Mare) ce se va c\u0103s\u0103tori cu domnitorul Gheorghe \u015etefan.<\/p>\n<p>3) <strong>Nastasia Pr\u0103jescu<\/strong>, c\u0103s\u0103torit\u0103 cu C\u00eerstea Buhu\u015f (p\u00e2rc\u0103lab al Moldovei), care la r\u00e2ndul lor au avut o nepoat\u0103 pe nume Nastasia Buhu\u015f (deci o str\u0103-str\u0103-str\u0103nepoat\u0103 a lui \u015etefan cel Mare) ce se va c\u0103s\u0103tori cu domnitorul Gheorghe Duca Vod\u0103.<\/p>\n<p>A\u015fadar, astfel s-ar justifica preten\u0163iile domne\u015fti ale lui Vasile Lupu Vod\u0103, a lui Gheorghe \u015etefan Ceaurul Vod\u0103 \u015fi a lui Gheorghe Duca Vod\u0103, prin so\u0163iile lor, toate descendente ale lui \u015etefan cel Mare.
