S-a constatat c\u0103 modelul reproduce cu succes at\u00e2t fazele de cre\u0219tere &#8222;exponen\u021bial\u0103 comprimat\u0103&#8221;, cum ar fi expansiunea rapid\u0103 din era industrial\u0103, c\u00e2t \u0219i regimul mai lent &#8222;exponen\u021bial extins&#8221; care a caracterizat cre\u0219terea popula\u021biei globale din jurul anului 1970.<\/p>\n<p>Cea mai provocatoare parte a lucr\u0103rii exploreaz\u0103 scenarii ipotetice viitoare. \u00cen analiza de baz\u0103, tendin\u021ba global\u0103 actual\u0103 nu produce o singularitate catastrofal\u0103 precum cea prezis\u0103 de von Foerster \u0219i colaboratorii s\u0103i, deoarece parametrul guvernant r\u0103m\u00e2ne \u00eentr-un regim de stabilizare.
